It is important to dress right for your job. The clothes you wear should protect you from accidents, not pull you into them.

Steel-toed safety shoes are required in the plant. Snug, close-fitting garments are best for most jobs. Old, torn shirts and pants make good scrub rags but not safe work clothes.

Change work clothes often and keep them clean. Dusty, greasy pants and shirts can cause skin irritation/rashes. Oil-soaked clothes may catch on fire around sparks or flame.

Remember . . . extra care in the way you dress is needed when you are working with machinery. Moving parts can easily grab hair, shirtsleeves, jewelry, gloves, and other clothing.
